I am a Data Engineer currently based in Seattle. I discovered my passion for programing through research while pursing my B.A. in Politics and Economics at UC Berkeley. Following my graduation in 2017, I attended Code Fellows to further my skills, and have been working as an engineer ever since — first at Zonar Systems as a backend engineer, and now at Coffee Meets Bagel as a Data Engineer. In my personal and work projects I most enjoy architecting and scaling data processing systems, building APIs in Python, working in cloud computing infrastructure, and learning new tools and systems.

I was born and raised in Seattle, and moved back in 2017 after living in the Bay Area to attend UC Berkeley. In my spare time, I love to read (sci-fi, history, literature...), work on personal programming projects, listen to podcasts, DJ jazz music, and dance lindy hop. Some of my favorite things include: large dogs, the jazz standard "Moonglow", pho, brewing coffee for friends, solo travel, self-improvement, and people who write good documentation.
