I am a Data Engineer based in Seattle, currently traveling and working remotely. I discovered my passion for programing through research while pursing my B.A. in Economics and Politics at UC Berkeley. Following my graduation in 2017, I attended Code Fellows to further my skills, and have been working as an engineer ever since.
Presently, I am a Data Engineer at Coffee Meets Bagel: a dating app designed for people seeking relationships built on personal growth. At CMB, I architect, build, and deploy high-throughput data processing systems to support our user-matching ML algorithms. My favorite things about my career are its focus on continuous learning, designing system architecture, the ability to take ownership over the work I perform, and the dedicated people with whom I work.

I was born and raised in Seattle, and moved back in 2017 after living in the Bay Area while attending UC Berkeley. In my spare time, I love to read (sci-fi, non-fiction, literature...), work on personal programming projects, listen to podcasts, DJ jazz music, and dance lindy hop .
Some of my favorite things include: large dogs, the jazz standard "Moonglow", practicing Spanish, playing "Breath of the Wild", solo travel, mindful self-improvement, and people who write good documentation.
